One year ago Liam Wordsworth was a hidden talent, only playing local basketball he soon found himself coming up against the same players every week. Fast forward one year and Liam is one of the best young talents in division 4. A quick guard with great potential who happens to be a fan favorite is being recognised as one of the future players who is going to be with the wasps for a long time.

" Im always trying to catch up with the players in the squad who i see ahead of me, we have great players in the team such as John Kelsey and Ash Rice and i learn alot from just watching them in training." Liam said.

Wordsworth has featured in almost every game this season for the wasps and his team mates are starting to take notice of last seasons "Rookie"

" Liam shows so much potential and is a great team mate he has a good eye for a pass and is becoming a confident point guard which is only going to help the club long term." Matthew fawcett said.

"If Liam keeps improving at the rate he has this last year then its only a matter of time before he becomes a major part of the wasps squad"

One thing is for sure next season should be an exciting year for Liam both on and off the court!!!
