Hull Wasps will once again face a Hull Kingston Icebergs team in this year’s Charity Game: Raising money for Dove House Hospice.

The annual basketball game, hosted in memory of former Hull Kingston Icebergs player, Jason Shakespeare, provides everybody in the basketball community to get involved and raise money for local charity, Dove House Hospice.

Every year, the city of Hull and community of basketball in the UK come together to celebrate the life of a special man, Jason Shakespeare. To remember him, the Hull Wasps will take on Jason’s former team-mates of the Hull Kingston Icebergs and all profits made from the game are donated to Dove House Hospice, who looked after Jason toward the end of his life.

The special event will take place on Saturday 4th June 2011, 6:00pm at the Bonus Arena, Walton Street.

Tickets are priced as normal at just £4 Adults, £3 Juniors (15 & under) with commemorative programmes at only £1 each.
