The Wasps are saying goodbye to the popular trio of James Brough, Matt Wilson and Robin Hewson. After three years with the club the players are all moving onto to different things. James Brough will be focusing more on coaching now and will be a big part of helping young players in Doncaster. Robin and Matt will be taking their talents to the Doncaster senior team in a move that is ideal for the guys.
Chairman Dave Bushnell commented on the player's departure. "We are obviously sad to be saying farewell to the three guys. They have been a huge part of the club and we will miss them as players and as people. We wish them luck going forward and our door will always be open."
James has twice been voted sixth man whilst Matt and Robin have been constant off the bench this season. And all three can say they were part of the first Hull promotion winning side in over a decade.
The task for Coach Fawcett is now to put a team together that will compete in Division 3.
