In the run up to the new basketball season, the Hull Wasps have been training "harder than ever", with their sights set on promotion into Division 3. After five seasons of playing in the National League, the Wasps head coach Matt Fawcett believes that this is an achievement that is well within the team's reach.
The Wasps have benefited from a recent rush of new player signings including Jack Daley and Lee Brown both of whom have proved to be successful additions to the team.
"The team has been going from strength to strength recently," said Fawcett. "We walk away from each training session feeling positive. The recent addition of our talented new signings has boosted what was already a skilled and dedicated team of players. Morale is high and I am confident that promotion is within our grasp this season."
Hull Wasps Chairman Dave Bushnell stressed the importance of the upcoming season for the club. "The new season gives us a fresh start and renewed motivation. We are constantly looking forward and improving with every step we take. I am proud of our team and the outlook for our upcoming season looks very promising."
