The Hull Wasps senior team won't be the only Wasps squad in National League this season. The Wasps will also have an Under 18 National League team playing during the 14/15 season. The Squad are currently just
getting back into training and are all working hard to make sure they have a stronger season than last year.
The Wasps under 16 team finished in the bottom half of the table last season but a few games had been decided by the thinnest of margins. Rookie Coach Rob Brown did a fantastic job of getting the National League squad playing at a high level and challenging some strong youth teams around the county.
Now a year older the squad lead by Captain Chace Homer and scoring threats Ben Dainty and Lewis Altoft will be ready to turn those margins on their head and make their own push for promotion.
"The lads did a great job last year, they certainly learnt some lessons and grew as a team. Now we are all back together and ready to see how much we have all grown. I love these guys and know that I am coaching the
future players for the Wasps senior team."
With try-outs currently underway to find some additional players for the Under 18s and last week's major announcement of the Wasps partnering up with Wyke College coached by local legend Neil Kelsey the under
18s will have a wide range of players available to help bolster the team for the upcoming campaign. One thing for sure is the Juniors will be looking to make some noise this year!
