Hull Wasps have won their 3rd game from 4 on Saturday afternoon after beating Liverpool at Greenbank Sports Academy 73-56. The Wasps were without big men Chris McKenna and Jason Munro but had John Brignell back in the side, who top scored in the game with 23 points.

The Wasps came out and commanded the game right from the tip-off, narrowly edging it in the first quarter 15-14 but running riot in the second. The Wasps defence stepped up and only allowed liverpool to score 5 points in the whole of the quarter but putting 20 points in themselves.

The third and fourth quarter were evenly matched but Wasps performance throughout the game was firm and in controlled, with the third quarter ending 51-38.

Jamie Goodwin was the second top scorer after Brignell, scoring 21 with Neil Rymer scoring 10.

The Wasps now travel to Wear Valley to face the Warriors next weekend looking to continue their fantastic run and put 2 more points on the board. The Wasps next home game will be the week after on December 6th at 7:30pm at the Gemtec Arena.
