Player Focus takes a look at one of the new faces in the Hull Wasps squad this season. James Brough was one the new faces selected in the Trials held in May and has already made a positive impact within the team.
Currently the team is going through pre-season training and competition for places amongst the point guards has been tough to say the least.
James Brough brings with him some experience playing at national league level and a passion for basketball that is hard to match. Brough's strongest asset is his ability to handle the basketball both in the open court and under pressure. James will be pushing other point guards Miles Baldwin and Chris Cummings hard for the starting spot in the Wasps squad.
James has previously played for Wear Valley Warriors for two seasons from 2007 - 2009 as well as a stint playing in the BUCS premier division in the 06/07 season.
"I’m excited to be back at this level again, this is a great team with a great set of lads. I personally can not wait for the season to start so I can contribute in any way to help the Wasps push for promotion." Brough said.
You can watch James Brough play when the Wasps take the floor again in September for start of the new campaign.
