Open Trial Sessions For New D-TEAM

Hull Wasps Development Team will be holding open trials on Friday 25th June and Friday 2nd July for anyone looking to join the fastest growing club in the city. With another year of national league basketball under the Wasps First Team belt, the D-Team are looking to grow and would like to see all the talent that this area has to offer.

With a new setup for next season, D-Team Coach Liam Wordsworth thinks this is a great opportunity for guys looking to excel in the world of basketball.

"Basketball is getting bigger and bigger in Hull and we are holding these trials for people who we haven't seen before, and even current players to show that they belong in this team."

The Hull Wasps D-Team will be competing in the Doncaster League next season and will be looking gain promotion into Division 1.

Coach Wordsworth continued: "I think that we have a really good opportunity to make a push for promotion next season and these trials are only going to strengthen our chances."

The trials will be taking place at the Active Zone at Kelvin Hall High School on Bricknell Avenue. Sessions cost only £3 and run from 8pm til 9:30pm. Players are advised to bring both light and darks tops, and be ready to play at 8pm sharp.
