Hull Wasps regret to announce that Chris McKenna has stepped down from position as Head Coach with immediate effect. Chris has been in charge of the Wasps first team since September 2009 after taking over from James Coulson.

"I am extremely sad to see Chris have to step down as our head coach" said club chairman, Dave Bushnell.

"Chris has been a fantastic appointment for this club and I would sincerely like to thank him for the fantastic work he has done with the team."

Current Assistant Coach John Brignell will stand in as head-coach for the time being with Captain Jamie Goodwin as assistant.
