League 4 North Champions, Leeds Carnegie II will meet League 4 Midlands South Champions, Loughborough Cardinals in the 2008-09 National League 4 Play-Off Final.

Both sides will compete against each other on Saturday (4th April) at the Moorways Leisure Centre for the National League 4 title. The Cardinals defeated Richmond College London United comfortably, 68-51 last weekend while Leeds, who did the double over the Hull Wasps this season by narrow margins, defeated UWIC Archers 76-56.

Both other League 4 North sides, Tyne Met Trojans and Stockport Falcons were knocked out in the quarter final stages of the play-offs by Richmond College London United and Leeds Carnegie II respectively.

Meanwhile, it will be an all-London League 3 Play-Off Final on Saturday as Brixton Topcats and Westminster Warriors won last weekend’s semi-final games. Brixton kept up their treble hopes with an 86-72 home victory against Mansfield Giants, while Warriors returned from northern section winners Durham Wildcats with a 90-85 win.

League 2 will play their semi-final ties this weekend, while League 1 will begin with the quarter finals.
