With regret, the Hull Wasps have had to postpone this Saturday’s first home game of the season against Leeds Allerton Force.
Technical problems with the baskets at Ennerdale mean that the game isn’t able to go ahead until the issue is fixed which can’t be completed before tomorrow’s game.
Club Chairman, Dave Bushnell said: "This is the first time we've had to postpone a game in the 6 years we've operated as a club. Everyone behind-the-scenes at the club has worked very hard over the past few months to get our new season underway.
“To have this problem at the last minute is disappointing but unfortunately it's out of our control. We'll do everything we can to make sure we're back up and running again, ready for the next game in two weeks times.”
The club would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank all our fans for their patience and understanding. The club would also like to thank Leeds Force for their cooperation.
Our next game is scheduled for two weeks’ time on Saturday 18th October (6pm) against Newcastle ULC Knights.
