John Kelsey is back in training after several months on the sidelines. The influential Guard started training with the first team squad again on Tuesday and should be back for the double game weekend coming up on 1st/2nd November against Stockport Falcons and Durham Wildcats in the National Shield.
It is a timely boost for the Wasps who, after losing their last 3 games, will take this as a boost of confidence to have their point guard back with the squad.
"It's great to have John back with the guys" said team captain, Matt Fawcett.
"John is influential in many ways and it will be great to have him back on court playing. He is back training with us. He will need some more games to get back to full fitness but his ability will give us a much needed boost."
Kelsey also played in the reserves emphatic 75-37 win against Deaf College Devils in the Doncaster League on Wednesday night, scoring 4 points with 15 assists and forcing 4 turnovers to help the team to victory in the first game of their campaign.
