Angelo Irving will be the final signing for the Wasps for the 2008-09 season. After the weekend's announcement of a closure on the roster for the season, HULLWASPS.CO.UK can now reveal that Angelo Irving was the final player to be added to the first team squad before it was closed off.

Irving has been training with the first team squad for the past few weeks and was given a trial to become a Wasps player.

"Angelo has worked hard and has shown what he can add to the squad" said Coach Coulson.

"His experience in National League before will no doubt be a huge benefit to the side and I'm sure now that we know exactly who our squad is for the remainder of the season, we can push on as a team and get more victories under our belts."

Irving has had previous National League experience as high as National League 1 and plays Forward position.

Irving may not feature in this weekend's home game against Tyne Met Trojans due to registration with the league, but will likely feature against Bury Blue Devils on 20th December at the Gemtec Arena.
