HULL Wasps forward Jamie Goodwin is certain his side will turn their poor run around - sooner rather than later.

And the former Sheffield Arrows and Lincoln Wildcats player is hopeful that starts in Saturday's clash with Stockport Falcons at the Gemtec Arena (tip-off 7pm).

Goodwin said: "We are under no illusions that things are going the right way. For me, basketball is about winning, anyone who has played with me is all too aware what a bad loser I am.

"But I still firmly believe we have the talent to beat any team in this league. At the risk of harping on about it, we showed that against Tees Valley in the Shield. Look at them now.

"Some of the players we have got would get into any team in this league. John Brignell is, without a doubt, one of the most dominant big men in the bottom two divisions, and, for me, could still be playing in division one.

"Look at how well Mosha is playing this season. Add to that the experience of me and Chris McKenna and the potential of players like Adrian Blatherwick and Ash Rice and I think you have a really talented team.

"I just think we need to put it all together on the day and I am sure we will, hopefully on Saturday for the fans who come out for every home game."
