The biggest event in British basketball is returning to Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena (NIA) as the British Basketball League (BBL) Championship Final takes place on Saturday 8th May 2010.

The BBL Championship Playoff Final is the culmination of the British Basketball League Championship season, and the pinnacle of many a player’s career.  After a 36-game regular season, the top eight teams in the country progress to the BBL Championship Playoff quarter-finals.  Those that are successful progress to the semi final round with the two semi final winners heading to the NIA for Saturday 8th May’s big finale in a contest that will crown the 2009/10 BBL Playoff Champions.

This year’s event will once again also play host to the 2010 BBL All Star Game involving the best players from all round the League in a Great Britain vs The World scenario. The event also features a host of other entertainment over the weekend including the world reknown FACETEAM from Hungary, BBL Babes, mascots, and much more.  They will keep the crowds on their toes in between the biggest games of the basketball season.

HULL WASPS Basketball Club would like to organise a club trip to the grand spectacle of the British Basketball season. The trip would encompass a joint player and fan coach allowing all Wasps fans to experience a day to remember, travelling to and watching the game with their favourite Hull Wasps players.

The club is looking to put together  packages of around £30 for juniors and £35 for adults. The price would include lower tier seating and full travel to and from the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham.

We would like to ask all fans to register their interest (click here to register) before 28th February 2010 in order to help plan the trip. This is not a 100% commitment from you when you register but would ask that only those who are genuinely interested in making the trip, to register their interest.
