BATTLE OF HULL REPLACES MOHAWKS GAME

13/02/2009 22:14

With less than 24 hours before the National League 4 Hull Wasps v Tees Valley Mohawks game, the club regret to announce the cancellation of the game. However, the Wasps will now encounter the Battle of Hull for tomorrow night as they now will play University of Hull. We encourage all to come along and enjoy this fantastic spectacle and show your support for the Wasps.

Tees Valley Mohawks, with various injuries and player absences, have decided to withdraw from the fixture. Although we are still awaiting confirmation from England Basketball, Hull Wasps believe the game will be awarded as a 20-0 win to Hull and will complete a hat-rick of victories this season over the Mohawks, even technically by default.

Entry for the Battle of Hull will be normal prices at £3 each, or 2 for £5 with a fixture card.

Game-night programmes on the night will now be half price at just 50p and this week, versatile guard, Rob Birchmore is 'At The Line' in our feature. Jamie Goodwin also makes a promise to the fans, and Coach James Coulson gives us his insight into the team.

Coulson will also be using his Player-Coach status and play in the game for the first time this season. Tip-off is still 7:00pm.
