MESSAGE BOARD

OK so ive been to both of the wasps games this season and ive loved both games they have been proper exciting but id love to see the wasps win. I wacthed every game last season and it was great seeing the team win! I like the new players the big player was really good and another player i think it is miles had a good game! why was jason the dunker in the crowd? he is a very good player who can fly? Is Mosher injured again cos he hasnt played much and i thaught he was one of the best players? JOhn Kelsey had a good game he is my favourite player in the wasps! Hope the wasps win next week it will make my weekend!!!

So sorry for you all, you deserved in my opinion, to have won the game. The effort you put in by all players, and the true guts and determination was there for all to be seen. So many calls I felt unjustly went against you in the later stages, but you should be proud of the fact that you left the arena with us fans still on your side, knowing what you are capable of, and knowing why the game did not go our way.

Here's to next weekend, still with our supportive fans behind you.

I think after tonight to rules should be changed to " ONLY DEGRADING COMMENTS TO REFEREES" i hope they see this when i say that was honestly the most appauling display of officiating i have ever seen. And iv seen a lot of games. They were incompatent, disrespectful and let down to the game of basketball." From what i can see the refs dont like hull because for once we have a good basketball team in the city and they get cheated out of a game because we show passion and the refs dont feel you cant do this. When has clapping your hands or slapping hands on the floor been a technical foul. really? I guess from now on coaches in hull will have to stop teaching kids to slap the floor before going into the defensive stance because two awful refs say so. Lets be honest it seems to be a jelousy factor because there both to dreadful to have any basketball skill.

my polite reply is above, but I also feel sorry for Wirral to have left Hull with such distaste in the air, we don't mind a fair defeat but that was far from it and I think they know that too

wait a second, referees don't hate hull because they have a 'good' basketball team its far from that..... it all depends on the referees, not every referee will make the correct calls and i agree there are some bad referees who sometimes don't know what they are doing, ..... and to be honest, slapping the floor on defence should not be done when getting in the defensive stance and i'm not quite sure why people do it, however i agree it is not a technical foul. You'll have to fill me in on the clapping hands and what happened, but if its when someone takes a shot then it is a technical foul (after a warning), but if its just from clapping good play or something then its not a tech.

It was clear that the Wasps are seen in a negative light by the refs due to their passion which shows them expressing themselves on court. It seems to me that after watching that, players cannot question a call or they will be punished. I would understand this if the refs were of a high standard, but there definatley not. We get the bottom dwellers of EB's refs. That is extremley true. Anyone who saw the game yesterday and isn't scared to speak the truth and say it as it is will agree with me. Somthing needs to be done. I hope the wasps make an official complaint because it needs to be sorted. This city has been through a lot of pain in the hands of ENGLAND BASKETBALL and its about time we faught back!!!!

I noticed last night the result was not issued on England Basketball site, as is usually done very quickly. Again today it is showing "awaiting confirmation of result", hopefully because they are looking into the matter. No matter what team is playing, in whatever division, we should have the same degree of standards in refs.

no you shouldn't.... you would never get a bbl/div 1 standard ref, referreeing in div 4.... the referees match the playing standard

Last season we had a referee's who ref bbl and div 1 on more than one occasion.
